I have more on all of the festivities later.
Drew, wanted to make sure we didn't have a dull moment:
Drew, being cute while having dinner Monday night.
notice anything? he's a little red? yeah, well it gets better...i mean, worse!
being silly at dinner...he was doing what Seth did while taking his picture.
After dinner, we went to a pharmacy to see what they thought. We went to my father's but didn't stay long.
We went back to my mom's, gave Drew more Benadryl, and headed to the hospital about 45 minutes away.
By the time we got there, not only was his face red and swollen, his hands and arms up to his elbows were all spotted.
It kept getting worse though....
Drew then gave the Dr. high five and let the nurse hold him! LOL he knew they were DONE!
My poor sweet lil bit, looked terrible...he looked like he had been beaten up pretty bad!
On our way home!!!!
we haven't figure out exactly what it is, but HAVE narrowed it down (we THINK) to one of these....
Apples, Cinnamon (disks is what he may have tasted), and/or pepperments!
he possibly had a tiny bit of all three of these again last night and he again started to get very rosy cheeks. It went away with benadryl, only leaving the same darker spots that have not gone away from the first episode.
we shall see what the Dr's say about trying to figure this out a safe way.
LOL after reading back over this, i realize i did not make the title of this post make much sense.
On the way to the hospital we didn't know the way....there's an APP for that. (the GPS)
on the way to the hospital, i could NOT think of what medicine Drew is allergic to. One is allergice to Sulpha meds, and one pennicillin. I thought to call the pharmacy we use to ask them to double check for me. Hubby said, there's an app for that (finding a pharmacy phone number)
then, on the way home. we wondered if there was any 24 hour pharmacy's in the little town my parents live it....yup...there's an app for that! LOL

Let me add a cute story to this episode. After Drew got the steroid shot and had been left alone by the medical staff long enough to settle down, he was having a blast singing "if you're happy and you know it..." with his mommy. He was getting so into it that when he shouted 'hooray!!', the nurses at their station around the corner and down the hall evidently could hear him because a couple of them came around to watch. Don't you know as soon as they got within his eyesight, he busts out crying like they were going to poke and prod him some more. He went from happy to crying in literally less than a couple of seconds! My poor lil' bit!!
Boy!! It never stops at your house does it!!!
So glad he is okay!!!

WOW Ros, glad he recovered so quickly. He looks so sad in those pictures. On a side note - YOU look FABULOUS!!!!!! Very slim looking!
Oh his poor little face breaks my heart. My little girl is allergic to red food coloring.
