Travis has always loved music.
He played the Sax through middle school and until his senior year of high school.
I was very sad,
but let him make the choice for the reasons he gave me.....
but he quit band this year.
(James Burton played guitar for Elvis and now tours on his own....we had christmas dinner with him and his family in '08. Travis also played a song he made up for him and James Burton said he liked it! Travis was THRILLED!)
He was tired of them focusing on Marching Band
and football game performances.
THAT was not what he signed up for....
he wanted to learn MUSIC.
How to play his instrument,
music theory,
how to play other instruments...etc.
anyhow....
THIS is his new toy:
an ukulele!
He's already taught himself several song and he's had it for 2 days!!
he amazes me!!
