MRI

Trevor had his MRI yesterday.

He was very brave.

On the way there, he mentioned, as long as i don't have to get a shot...

hummm.. NEVER thought about that?!

sure enough, we get there, they call me around to the cubicle to sign the papers and she mentioned, this is for the dye....

HUH? no one mentioned THAT. You mean, in his veins....with a NEEDLE?

yes.

OOPS!

I left it at that and didn't mention it to him. he was antsy already and figured we can let him know and they can explain what they have to do to him.

He took it well, but wanted to know exactly HOW LONG the 'pinch' would hurt, and if it felt like being pinched, or a what?

they said a very QUICK bee sting.

he said, 'well, i've never been stung, how would i know what THAT feels like?!'

he brought his IPod incase he had to wait long, and that was a good thing because they had this thing to hook HIS IPod to the headphones in the MRI.

It was LOUD and he had to be told only once to make sure to keep still. he was jamming to his music (his feet were just a movin'!) and even gave me the 'rock on' sign...i had to LAUGH!

The Dr. should get the results today and i hope he calls to let me know right away!

If i don't hear from him, i will be bugging calling them tomorrow!
