You know it's not going to be a good outcome....

when you have to call 1-800-GET-ROTO first thing in the morning.

Yesterday, water was under the laundry baskets and i couldn't figure out where it had come from. Was the freezer not working and defrosting? was it the washer?

YEP. well, it wasn't actually the washer, but the drain pipe backing up when the washer tried to drain.

the tub and shower kept backing up into each other in the main bath too, but the master bath and kitchen seemed to be fine.

I put some undo the clog stuff in there last night and it didn't seem to do anything. When i woke up, it was all gone, all the water would drain right, the washer drained fine and the toliet flushed and drained. WOW...it DID work!

not so fast..... Zachary flushed the toliet...you know, cause that's SO FUN! and it filled all the way up to the rim, and so all of the troubles started again!

I called both a local plumber that we used before AND Roto Rooter, the quickest here will get the job!

within an hour, Roto Rooter called and asked if they could come now. YES....we NEED our water to work!

2 1/2 hour later (charging for TWO plumbers each hour, and the first hour was CRAZY RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE...because they had to take out the toliet and all kinds of other out of the ordinary things), and a bill out the wazzoo....we have water, new wax under our toliet, we know where our clean out drain is at for that bathroom,

(had we, or they.... known where this was from the beginning, it would have taken 30 minutes and a lot cheaper bill!!)

have a 4-foot hole in our back yard,

(at least they covered the hole back up!)

and a bathroom that needs to be mopped REALLY bad! Oh, and water DRAINING so i can wash all the clothes that we have from not being home all weekend, baby's BOTH soaking through thier sheets this morning, dishes that weren't done last night JUST INCASE the kitchen sink and dishwasher would back up ....yep, that's all waiting for me...

Now to get the littles to nap at the same time so i can get to work on all that stuff!

Oh my *snickering slightly*! I've been in your EXACT situation not once but TWICE within a 6 month span (remind me sometime to tell you all about it and why now I have a clean out drain of the side of my very narrow driveway!). You seem to be handling it waaaay better than I did!

Look at it this way....everything now is SPARKLING clean! LOL.
