I overheard Travis telling Lance something that happened at school yesterday.
John, Travis' friend, took Skylar's, another friends cell phone and found James Burton listed in it. He wrote the number down and called it later. when the man on the other end answered, he asked, 'hi, is this James Burton?" the man said, "Yes." then john hung up and said, "OMG that was james Burton!"
of course it was... that's skylar's grandpa!!
James Burton played guitar for Elvis! Skylar even has one of Elvis' guitars!
Lance and Travis can't wait to meet him!
EDITED TO ADD: we found out this morning that we will possibly having Lunch (or dinner, whenever we end up eating) with James Burton for Christmas! his daughter is a friend of mine, they don't live near family and neither do we, so we talked about doing it together and she invited us over. Her dad will be there!
