i love that kid's movie. i'll have to check to see if they have it on DVD.
Oh, that's not what i was talking about. we are BACK HOME now! (told ya i had ADD)

we had a great time! i love going home and spending time with family. As crazy and chaotic as it is with all of us together, it's still so much fun!
We got into town around noon, and stopped by mom's. We dropped off the gifts, then headed to my brother's house. we had lunch and the kids plugged in the XBox 360. THAT was NUTS! two of them on guitars, 1 on the drums and someone singing... anywhere from a 4 year old to a 34 year old... sorry Heather, i agree with the rest of them.....singing lessons. heehee (LOVE YA!)

Later, Lance and i left all 4 boys with Aunt Heather and Uncle Shane and went pick up a gift card that we didn't get and met my parents for supper. BOILED CRABS! YUMMY! Lance ate fried fish since he doesn't do crabs...he doesn't know what he's missing!
Back to shane's and i was asleep within 30 minutes!
Sunday, Drew was up by 5 a.m. because he had gone to bed at 6:30 the night before. By 6:30 a.m. i called my father and asked if he was ready to start cooking. I packed up Drew and we took off to start cooking. By noon, we were eating..and we had a TON of food! surprisingly, we had a really good time there. my brother Shane and I don't have a parent/child realtionship with our father, and we have NEVER had a christmas like that with him. He has his own priorities, and we don't rate at the top....neither do our children. I will admit, it was a nice time.
Monday, we headed to my mom and 'dad's' house and started cooking. it was chaos there with all the lil kids running all over. there was a 16, 10, 7, 4, two 3, 2, and 1 year olds there. We didn't do 'christmas' until everyone got off of work and made their way there. 3 of the 4 kids, and thier families all there. that added a 15 y.o. to the kids and our spouses. By 7 p.m. we finally ate. there was so much food, and it was delicous!

After eating, we opened gifts...again, CHAOS! Four of them got bikes. they loved them! Trevor got a bunch of Mighty mug star wars...he was so excited! He also got gift cards to gamestop...every kids wish! Travis' got a game, microsoft points and gift cards. the littles got an easel (that was here at our house already), an aquadoodle, a gas pump, and some movies. Lance and i got a george forman grill (i put it on a list for my mom to pick from), some mary kay products and a lighthouse ornament (hallmark collectors).
we packed up the Outlook and headed for home around 9:30 p.m. we got home sometime before midnight.

it was fun, and we are glad to be home...not i just need to clean up the house and get ready for our own christmas!
We rented a storage unit to hide the gifts in so we could have everything put together and wrapped already.
This morning, Hubby went get it all and it's in our room (with the door locked of course!) ready for tonight!
I'm SOOOOO excited!
not only will i be getting my WONDERFUL gift, but i cannot wait to see all the kids faces when they open thier gifts!!
Tomorrow, Hubby has to work 8-4 so we will be getting up VERY early to let the kids open gifts BEFORE he leaves.
We will head over to our friends house for lunch, then back home to have a relaxing time enjoying our gifts (me figuring our how to use my WONDERFUL GIFT!).
Are YOU ready for Christmas? what's on your to do list that you haven't gotten to yet?
